Description

Discover the vital relationship between flowering plants and animals like bees, butterflies, bats, and birds. We'll examine the anatomy of a flower, the process of pollination, the pollinator's role in healthy ecosystems, and the threats leading to their decline. 

Tuition is due in full at time of registration. Refunds (less a $25 processing fee) are made only for withdrawals 30 days in advance of the first class meeting. Withdrawal and refund requests must be submitted in writing. If a class is canceled by the Nature Center, a full refund will be made. Once registration is complete, a fee of $25 will be required for each change of class request. This request must be submitted in writing along with the fee. 

  • Students should wear closed toe shoes and socks for all camps. 
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended and must be applied before entering the building.
  • Students must be signed in and out of class each day by an authorized adult.
  • Students in full day (9am-3pm) classes should bring a lunch and drink. Due to the safety of all of our students, please do not send any nut products.

 

This is a one week class that is offered three times - please only register for one instance of the class (the week of June 22nd, the week of June 29h or the week of July 27th).
